Those pants are AMAZING. I'm a shortie -- I feel you on the hemming. One of the major reasons I don't wear pants! I think skirts fake it better, plus I just buy minis and on me they're...normal length, haha. But these pants are a WIN. Gold is your color!

Penny, I am also 5'2'', and I just bought my first pair of similar pants @ JCrew, in black (part of the spring line). I bought mine in petite size so I hope they fit me. I am one of those that have tons of stuff in the closet that need to be hemmed or reworked completely. Oh, and that Salvation Army coat is absolutely fabulous on you!

Penny, I do this sometimes too...wear stuff that I know need some work done.
Anyways sometimes I use that green tape (the one florists use for doing their arrangements) and hem stuff up with it... it's a quick fix.
Good for you on the ban, I am 20 days and going strong.
I have a pair of pants that I need to exchange from last year but I am terrified that I will be tempted by something else in the store... I also have a gift card from last year that has 10.00 USD... and in February I have the "right" to buy one item, so I have to see what it is I really NEED!
