So I decided to try that 'boyfriend jean' look I see every where. Now mind you, I was around for the 80's boyfriend look and it gave me a little shrill to think that I may go back there but I sucked it up and gave it a go again. Warning .... you may feel conflicted with the outcome...well, at least I was in a way....
This is what my husband thought of the outfit::
Now, don't get me wrong - I actually had a bit of fun sporting this look (the kid gloves made me feel more like Pat Benatar than Rhianna), I'm just not sure if the whole roll up the jean look is really for me. I think it's because I'm short and you know what they say about cuffs and short people....it makes you look stout and I don't want to look stout...no way, no how...but in the end, I'm a rebel at heart so I may just sport this one more - if not only to see my husband give me that half moon eyed look.

I really like this outfit! I've been looking for a way to make my boyfriend jeans look more appropriate for fall and a jacket like this might be the answer.
You know what it is about this look, it's the fact that my jeans are straight leg and not that boyfriend style...so I kind of faked it;) Also, I think I need to trim the pants a bit so that there isn't so much bulk when I cuff them up....I think that's what was bugging me about the outfit.
That coat is fabulous! I have the same conflicting thoughts about boyfriend jeans on me. But I think they look FIERCE with those heels, no matter who you are!
I love that jacket. I saw a similar one today at Salvation Army.
I think the boyfriend jean is a hard look to pull off for anyone but I really like how you styled it.

Hi,
Fashion is the best way to show out our personality and also glamour..
so i will take this article in my life...
Thanks for sharing valuable info..
lol! Love that face he is giving you!
My husband hates the bf jean look too but I don't care because it is comfy. If you are too short for it just make sure you have heels on and you do so...well done.
TRES CHIC!!

OMG! I loved Alexander's and miss it terribly... 3rd Avenue(in the Bronx),Fordham Rd (also the Bronx) and the 59th St (Manhattan) locations were great places to find lots of fun stuff. Sigh.
BTW, love the outfit. The jacket, the shoes, and yes the gloves are sick!
I love the gloves! Love it! I think I might wear my gloves for Thanksgiving just for fun!
