Hats are completely so underestimated::

As a kid, I used to spend the weekends away watching AMC. Back in those days, AMC was much more like TMC and for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year -- they played nothing but the classics on that channel. As a result, I became completely fascinated by the fashions of years past...specifically, the many hat styles that ladies donned in those by gone eras. Something about seeing women wear fancy hats just makes me want to jump up with glee.

Several months ago, when I was going through an Etsy binge; I came across the following hat::

Well, I almost passed out from excitement. I instantly thought of all those movies I used to watch incessantly on AMC and I immediately envisioned myself in a more glamorous sort of way.....




....and let me tell you, I certainly felt very, very glamorous wearing this hat. When my husband first saw it he said..."That's nice." but you know it's that "That's nice" kind of saying that actually means "Where are you going with this? or Really? Are you for real?"

Well, my husband ate crow upon seeing the whole thing put together. You see men, you should never underestimate the power of a woman's imagination or a hat.
