With an abundance of ruffles....

....it's easy to feel quite Queenish;)

My version:)

-The saffronish ruffled silk blouse - JCrew - on sale

**The low down about the shirt - it's lovely, but the proportions on it are a bit strange. The shirt itself has seaming which makes you think it will hug your body - but it doesn't. The shirt is very boxy. I'm thinking about taking it to a seamstress to have it taken in on the sides...we'll see.

The best part about the blouse is definitely the ruffles - I honestly did feel a little 'Queenish' in it and unlike some other ruffled shirts I have; these ruffles were good and stiff the whole day through - no signs of wimpy ruffling;)

-skirt - Banana Republic - on sale for crazy cheap couple years back.




-These ugly shoes I can't stop wearing are by Seychelles.

I know some people don't get the bandage like strap in the front; but there is something very 40's about this shoe and something very modern and weird about it that makes me love em'!


-The belt was purchased at Fab Finds Under $50's Etsy Shop :)
